Ceará

  • Galeano has become coach Léo Condé’s trusted player, featuring in all 26 Série A matches (5 goals, 3 assists). His consistency and tactical improvement earned him a starting spot. This season, he has 10 goals in 45 appearances, ranking second in Ceará’s scoring charts behind Pedro Raul.

Corinthians

  • With an eye on the 2026 Copinha, Corinthians loaned Luis Paulo (goalkeeper, 18, Assissense), João Sacca (forward, 18, Assissense), and Lucão (defender, 17, Juventus-SP) to gain experience. The defender is expected to return after the tournament, while the others may be transferred.

  • Osmar Stabile appointed Ângelo de Sá Júnior, vice president of Grupo Jovem Pan and former CNN/Globo executive, as Corinthians’ new unpaid marketing director, replacing Wanderson Salles after a series of management changes.

Cruzeiro

  • Recovering from injury, Fagner is expected to leave Cruzeiro when his loan ends in December, as the club bets on young Kauã Moraes as his replacement.

  • With Matheus Henrique’s new injury, Cruzeiro may finish 2025 without having its full squad available for any match this season.

  • Cruzeiro’s 2026 signing Néiser Villarreal shone at the U-20 World Cup with two goals for Colombia, earning praise from coach César Torres.

Flamengo

  • Bap believes Filipe Luís will renew with Flamengo but says the agreement depends on both sides and awaits the coach’s counterproposal.

  • Bap admitted refereeing mistakes but insisted Flamengo didn’t lose to Bahia because of the red cards, calling for more balance and consistency in Brazilian officiating.

  • Pulgar returned to team training after injury and could face Botafogo, while Saúl remains in treatment for ankle pain.

Fluminense

  • The Rio de Janeiro government began evaluating a plan to allow Flamengo and Fluminense to sell Maracanã naming rights, with the concession valid until 2044. The deal, worth up to R$70 million per year, depends on legal and Iphan approval as the stadium is a protected landmark.

  • The CBF released VAR audio that annulled Lucho Acosta’s goal in Fluminense vs. Mirassol, confirming a foul in the build-up. After review, the referee concluded the tricolor player hit the opponent without touching the ball.

Fortaleza

  • Matheus Pereira is suspended and will miss Fortaleza’s match against Vasco on October 15. Palermo is evaluating Rossetto, Pierre, Pablo Roberto, or Lucas Crispim as replacements. Possible absences include Weverson, João Ricardo, Lucca Prior, and Bruno Pacheco, though there’s optimism about Moisés’s return.

  • Alfa Bet delayed payments to Grêmio, creating a financial gap at year-end while the club seeks alternatives to cover the loss.

Internacional

  • Fully recovered from injury and motivated by the birth of his son, Bruno Gomes returns to Internacional eager to reclaim his spot and dreams of a call-up to the Brazilian national team.

  • Internacional will face Mirassol with several absences, including call-ups and injured players, likely fielding Gustavo Prado and Vitinho in attack.

Juventude

  • Juventude trained on the new synthetic pitch at its training center ahead of the clash with Palmeiras, dealing with doubts in midfield and attack due to injuries and suspensions. Coach Carpini is expected to start Peixoto and Sforza, with Hermes and Ruschel returning.

Mirassol

Palmeiras

  • Midfielder Gerson (27), currently at Zenit and formerly with Flamengo, has been linked to Palmeiras, though no talks are active. Valued at €35 million (R$217 million), he has only played six matches in Russia and is recovering from a muscle injury since August.

They can lose by up to two goals and still advance. The team has 9 wins, 2 draws, and 4 losses (29 scored, 19 conceded).

  • With Alexis Duarte on international duty, Vojvoda must choose between Luan Peres, Zé Ivaldo, João Basso, and Luisão to pair with Adonis Frías. Zé Ivaldo has 28 appearances, and if he plays 4 more, Santos must buy him from Cruzeiro for US$1 million (~R$5.3 million).

São Paulo

  • São Paulo faces Ferroviária today at 3 p.m. at CFA Laudo Natel in the Paulista U-20 quarterfinals. A draw leads to penalties, and the match will be broadcast live on TNT Sports’ YouTube channel.

  • Forward Jonathan Calleri, 32, is completing rehab from ACL surgery and will begin physical preparation on Monday, aiming to return later this month. His dedication has inspired teammates as he targets a Libertadores spot for São Paulo in the final stretch of the season.

Sport Recife

  • Sport confirmed the Arena de Pernambuco for November 13 and closed a R$3 million net deal (without selling home rights). The agreement includes operational participation, pricing control, guaranteed check-in, and visitors in the North Sector — the largest single-game revenue in Pernambuco football history. Fans reacted negatively to the news.

Vasco

  • Vasco creditors approved the club’s judicial recovery plan with 97.7% approval after a six-hour meeting, marking a historic step in financial restructuring. The SAF celebrated the decision as a guarantee of stability and continuity.

  • Rayan (19) continues his impressive form, battling Vitor Roque for the U-20 Brazilian Championship Golden Boot with 14 goals this season. The São Januário academy product follows in the footsteps of Neymar, Gabriel Jesus, and Estêvão as one of Brazil’s brightest young talents.

Coach Jair Ventura is using the FIFA break for physical and tactical adjustments (acceleration, duels in wide areas, and defensive line organization). Upcoming sessions: Friday afternoon and weekend mornings.
