ree

Atlético-MG

  • Atlético-MG president Sérgio Coelho confirmed Hulk’s stay at the club until 2026 and criticized those questioning the idol, demanding more respect for the player.

  • Coach Sampaoli praised Hulk’s recovery and highlighted Atlético-MG’s effort in the draw against Del Valle, considering the result positive for deciding at home.

  • Despite a statistical decline, Hulk remains a key figure for Atlético-MG and was once again decisive with an assist in the Copa Sudamericana semifinal.

Bahia

  • Bahia 1x0 Internacional – Home Bahia – Série A

  • Bahia beat Internacional 1–0 (penalty by Willian José) and climbed to 5th place with 49 points, three behind 4th-place Mirassol (52). Next match: São Paulo, Saturday (25), away.

Botafogo

  • Botafogo defender Kaio Pantaleão underwent successful knee surgery after a severe ligament injury and is expected to return only in the second half of 2026.

  • Midfielder Newton recalled working to support his mother during the pandemic before resuming his football career. Now 25, he celebrates his comeback and says he’s inspired by teammate Danilo.

  • Forward Arthur Cabral returned to Botafogo training with his right hand immobilized after fracturing a bone in the derby against Flamengo. He will be re-evaluated weekly to determine availability against Santos.

Ceará

  • The CBF views positively the joint request from Sport, Ceará, and Fortaleza for historical recognition and will send it to its legal and historical committees. A decision is expected by early 2026, supported by strong political backing from the Northeast.

  • Ceará will be without Lourenço and Pedro Henrique (suspended) for the away match against Atlético-MG on Saturday (25). The team is 13th with 35 points (Galo 15th with 33). Coach Condé may use Dieguinho (if fit), Richardson, or Sobral in midfield.

Cruzeiro

  • Bruno Rodrigues, now at Palmeiras, faces his former club Cruzeiro after recovering from injuries. His previous spell at the Raposa in 2023 was marked by both highlights and controversies.

  • Cruzeiro will have Cássio, Kaiki, and Kaio Jorge back against Palmeiras, while Sinisterra may return and Fagner and Matheus Henrique remain in recovery.

  • A CIES study ranked Kaio Jorge among the world’s best finishers, ahead of CR7, with Wanderson among the top dribblers and William standing out defensively for Cruzeiro.

Flamengo

  • Flamengo 1 x 0 Racing – Flamengo Home – Libertadores

  • Carrascal surprised as a starter, scored the winning goal, and became the standout player in Flamengo’s 1–0 victory over Racing in the Copa Libertadores semifinal.

  • Filipe Luís praised the 1–0 result over Racing but called the advantage “symbolic,” emphasizing that Flamengo will also play to win in Argentina. The coach praised Carrascal’s decisive performance and highlighted the team’s maturity and patience in a tactical, balanced match.

  • Pedro suffered a forearm fracture during the semifinal against Racing. Flamengo is evaluating recovery protocols to decide whether he can continue playing.

Fluminense

  • Fluminense is already planning for 2026 and assessing contract situations. Manoel may leave at the end of 2025, while loanee Nonato (from Santos) may stay. Riquelme Felipe is under contract until 2030, with Canobbio, Martinelli, and Guga representing the team’s core and future.

  • The club will conduct a R$10 million auction at the Labor Court to advance debt payments under the Centralized Execution Regime, which total around R$55 million. The initiative, approved by the Labor Prosecutor’s Office, aims to reduce liabilities through creditor discounts.

  • Recovered from a thigh injury, Nonato has returned to full training and may be available for the match against Internacional. Ganso and Manoel are also progressing in recovery, while Freytes remains suspended.

Fortaleza

  • Fortaleza has already accumulated 26 defeats in 2025 — a historical record, with 16 in 28 Brasileirão matches — and is on track to break its own negative record with 10 games remaining.

  • The team will be without Lucero against Flamengo due to suspension. Deyverson, Adam Bareiro, Gastón Ávila, and Pablo Roberto return, while Kuscevic, João Ricardo, Crispim, Benevenuto, Matheus Pereira, and Allanzinho remain out due to injuries.

Grêmio

  • Tiago Volpi, Arthur, and Alysson returned to Grêmio training and are expected to reinforce the team against Juventude this Sunday at the Arena. Monsalve and Dodi could also be available as coach Mano Menezes adjusts the lineup for Matchday 30.

  • Marcos Rocha will miss about a month, and Menezes is evaluating improvisations or using João Lucas or Gustavo Martins at right-back against Juventude. The position remains problematic due to injuries and lack of experienced substitutes.

Internacional

  • Bahia 1 x 0 Internacional – Bahia Home – Série A

  • Internacional lost 1–0 to Bahia, extending its streak of mistakes and defeats, and remains threatened by relegation in the Série A.

  • After the loss, coach Ramón Díaz downplayed relegation concerns, emphasizing the team’s strong tactical first half. Internacional sits 14th, four points above the drop zone, and will face Fluminense on Saturday.

  • In his debut, 17-year-old left-back Alisson was sent off after 26 minutes following VAR review. Bernabei also left the game with a yellow card, and Vitão was subbed off with a knee injury.

Juventude

  • Juventude needs at least 21 points from the final nine rounds — a higher rate than Flamengo and Palmeiras — to avoid relegation in Série A. The victory over Bragantino reignited hopes, with Daniel Peixoto, Igor Formiga, and Rafael Bilu emerging as key players.

Mirassol

  • Chico da Costa returned to full training after a 15-day suspension due to weight gain and poor performance and is expected to be available against Sport. The forward has scored six goals in 13 games this season after joining on loan from Cerro Porteño.

  • Carlos Eduardo scored his first goal for Mirassol after an 18-month drought, sealing a 3–0 win over São Paulo. He celebrated the milestone and praised the team’s unity and professionalism as keys to its success.

Sport Recife

  • Sport began planning for 2026 — ruling out relegation — with staff restructuring, squad mapping, and contract evaluations. Coach Daniel Paulista’s continuity is uncertain as the team sits last, with two wins in 28 games and less than a 1% chance of survival.

  • Doubts remain for Saturday’s (25) match: Rivera (left hamstring) and Lucas Lima (right adductor) are still recovering and might miss the Mirassol game, while Aderlan and Hyoran are set to return.

Vasco

  • Vasco is in advanced negotiations to extend Rayan’s contract until 2028, with a salary and release clause increase. The 19-year-old striker is enjoying a stellar season with 16 goals.

  • Andrés Gómez has taken advantage of Vegetti’s poor form to secure a starting role, leading the team in assists since his debut. Coach Fernando Diniz praised the Colombian’s intensity and growth.

  • Since early 2025, Vasco has planned to turn Rayan into a center forward, and coach Diniz successfully implemented the change, establishing him as the team’s offensive leader and reducing dependence on Vegetti.

Vitória

  • Vitória has eight players one yellow card away from suspension (Baralhas, Halter, Willian Oliveira, Ronald, Claudinho, Zé Marcos, Carlinhos, and Lucas Arcanjo) ahead of the match against Corinthians. A new booking will rule them out against Cruzeiro. Cáceres is already suspended.
